The Erales line, is made with grapes from selected parcels owned by Sanchez Nieto family in Agrelo, which have been specially prepared to achieve complex, balanced and expressive wines. Care is taken with the goal of obtaining limited yields, leaf thinning looking for good aeration and grape ripening, and cluster removal according to the time of the year n order to achieve concentration.
These labors, as well as the strict and careful work at the winery, lead to the production of elegant, distinguished and complex wine with a delicate balance between the ripe fruit and aging in French oak.

“YBS” means “Year’s Barrel Selection. This is a limited and numbered batch. Planned for its aging, it represents only the most distinguished vintages. In order to achieve a differential quality, the barrels with the highest aging potential are selected so that the wine may go on with its aging process for around 16 months. They are combined in a blend of Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah. Each of these varietals provides different characteristics: the Malbec – intense purplish colors, red fruit and mild tannins; the Caberent Sauvignon – structure, complexity, and character as well as black fruit, cassis, and eucalyptus aromas; the Syrah – spicy hints and dry fruit flavor.
The wine shows great volume and tenacity on the palate, excellent oak integration, a great complexity with a very pleasant and lingering finish.
